Contact Norfolk Stride
If you have a question, a correction, or a topic you would like us to cover, this is the place to send it. We read everything that comes through, and we use it to decide what we write next — whether that is a page on capsule formats, a comparison of support aids, or a clearer take on daily joint care.
Whatever you are working through — keeping a stiff knee moving on a morning walk, choosing between a soft compression sleeve and a firmer brace, or reading the label on a joint capsule — send it over. Small, specific questions make the most useful pages.
What to send us
You can write in about anything within our scope: movement and pacing, footwear, sleeves and braces, comfort aids, or how to read the label on a joint capsule. Corrections are especially welcome — particularly if you have spotted a number or a piece of advice that looks wrong.
Topic suggestions work best when they are specific. Something like "how to manage stairs when one knee is grumpy" is far more useful to us than "more knee content please". If several people ask the same thing, it usually turns into its own page.
-
Questions about everyday movement
How to pace a walk when one side feels grumbly, how to keep strong and healthy joints from stiffening at a desk, or where to start if you have been sitting more than usual lately.
-
Footwear, sleeves and braces
Which shoe suits a longer walk, how a sleeve should feel when it fits properly, or what to check before buying a brace you will actually wear.
-
Label reading and format questions
Natural leg capsules come in several formats, and the labels are not always clear. If a phrase on a package puzzles you — how a joint capsule is measured, what a serving looks like, how two products compare — ask and we will try to explain it plainly.
Corrections first
If a page tells you something that no longer matches what your local health service says, we want to know. Corrections get looked at before new pages do, because being right matters more to us than publishing volume.
Include the page name and one sentence about what is wrong. That is enough for us to find it.
What we cannot help with
We cannot tell you what is causing your discomfort or advise on whether to start, stop or change anything you have been prescribed. We are an education resource, not a practice, and there is nobody here who can examine you.
If you need that kind of help, your GP is the right first stop, and for urgent problems NHS 111 is set up exactly for that. Where a question sits outside what we cover, we will say so honestly and point you to a better place. If a knee pain solution feels beyond self-care, that is a conversation for someone who can actually see you.
A few things people have written in about
Not complaints, mostly curiosity. These are the shapes of messages that turn into useful reading.
How to write in
Use the contact form on this page. Give us enough detail to understand the question, but please leave out anything sensitive about your health or anyone else's. We do not need a personal history to write a page about shoes, and it is better kept out of an email.
If you are reporting a correction, tell us which page and what the issue is. If you are suggesting a topic, a sentence about your situation helps — where you are now, what you have tried, what you would like to understand. That is genuinely all we need.
- One question per message is easier to answer well than five bundled together.
- Name the page if you are writing about something you read here, so we can find it fast.
- Skip attachments and personal records. A plain description is enough for us to work with.

Send your message
A person reads every message. If it needs a reply, you will hear back, usually within a few working days. If it is a suggestion that turns into a page, it may take longer before you see the result, because pages get written, checked and reviewed before they go up.
If you have not heard back in a week, send it again and mention that you have written before. Silence from us usually means your note has been logged rather than ignored.
We collect only what you type here, so we can read and answer it. Details are handled as described in our privacy policy.
Reporting a problem with the site
If something on the site does not work, or a page contains advice that contradicts current UK guidance, tell us. Include the page name and a sentence about what is wrong.
This applies to anything: a broken link, an outdated timeframe, a heading that reads badly, or a recommendation that does not match what your NHS trust is saying. Our interest is in being right, not in defending what is already published.
Where else to look
Most questions we receive already have a page. These four cover the ground people write in about most often, and they are a good first stop before you send anything.
Not medicine and not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Material here is written for general education about daily comfort and movement.
